Balgonie's top line dominated the game with their speed and quickness and combined for seven points. Jamie Heward also scored his first goal as a Bison.
St. Walburg will have to find a way to slow down the Bison attack to avoid seeing Balgonie celebrate a Provincial title in the Eagles' own barn.
Game 3 (if nec), would be back in Balgonie on Sunday March 28th @ 8:00.
See ya Saturday!

Look out, the Leafs are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. Can you say playoffs? Haha! Just jokes, i'm not that much of a homer.
However, it is nice to see the young guys succeed so there is a little hope for the future. Can't wait to see the Leafs draft Hall or Seguin. Oh ya, i forgot.............

Just some reasons why i think the Bisons lost game 3 last night.
ReplyDelete1) SHOOT Weitzel was all alone in the slot and dished the puck off ....no clue why?
2) First 7 minutes of all 3 periods the Bisons were FLAT , took them half a period to wake the hell up.
3) Unser and Istace were complete Studs .
4) Bisons got outcoached. IMO , Bisons had to get Lance away from Goldade and they didnt for some reason.
5) I thought the Bisons had DEPTH ??? hmmm Kups 5 shifts , Rumple 5 shifts , those 2 guys should have been crashing and banging for the 1st ans 2nd , by the end of the 2nd Goldade and Delainey could barely skate they were so tired , Imagine if Rumple and Kups were out banging away at them.....
Pretty dis appointing leaving the rink last night and from beiong a player i know what the boys felt like. This series was Balgonie's to lose and thats what they did , Shitty thing is that they beat themselves and picked a bad weekend to play the worst hockey all season. They battled hard and put another minute on the clock and its going to OT imo.
I agree with pretty much everything you said there.
ReplyDeleteJust like every year, all aspects of the team will be evaluated, including coaching, goaltending, and our import spots.
I'm stunned with the outcome. The season feels like a waste right now.
